We provide life coaching workshops in a creative environment.
The program is designed to encourage personal development within young people while providing an outlet for their stresses and anxieties.
These programs help young people develop life skills and learn how to manage some of the stresses that come along the way. This can include:
• building confidence
• setting and achieving goals
• managing stress
• combatting difficult issues
We also train the youngsters to maintain the newly acquired skills and make informed decisions with regards to career, be it in the arts or other spaces.
Another component of the leadership program is the basic education on the business of arts.
To take the skills further into the community and beyond, students shall be equipped with art business knowledge and guidance. This can include:

  • how to manage a portfolio

  • how to sell

  •  where to sell

  •   building a network in the field.

  •  Homework clubs

The homework clubs support what the students are learning at school and facilitators focus on building the students repertoire of skill so that they can manage their academic challenges more effectively

• Art classes

The classes are based on traditional visual arts techniques including basic drawing and a variety of painting techniques

• Holiday art clubs

The clubs are offered during holidays in the morning and/or afternoons.

• Storytelling workshops

Within the library space, we offer mindful and enriching storytelling sessions to young people from grades 8 to 12

We offer a support structure managed by a social worker, where we work on the wellness and social issues of the young people. In addition, we assist with documents such as ID, grants, as well as being there with a social worker looking at the child holistically.
